✅ December’s Money Tips

Align Your Habits With Your Goals

Big or small, your money habits should reflect the life you want to create. Here’s a simple framework to help you move forward with purpose:

  • Define who you want to be. Debt-free? Stress-free? More generous? Write it down.

  • Ask what needs to be true. What conditions or truths would support that version of you?

  • Choose 2–3 small actions. Even small, consistent habits can create big change.

  • Get accountability. Share your goal with someone who can help you stay on track.

  • Celebrate milestones. Reward yourself when you hit progress markers, big or small.

Plan Ahead for Holiday Spending

The holidays are time for fun, family and friends, but they can also stretch your budget if you’re not intentional. Here’s a simple way to keep your spending in check:

  • Set a total holiday budget. Include gifts, decorations, events, and any travel. Knowing your limit helps prevent overspending.

  • Prioritize your spending. Decide what matters most: family gifts, experiences, or charitable giving, and allocate your budget accordingly.

  • Track every dollar. Even small purchases add up. Logging expenses keeps you aware and on target.

  • Shop smart. Plan purchases ahead of sales, look for deals, and avoid impulse buys.

  • Review & adjust. Check in weekly to make sure you’re staying on track and adjust if needed.

🧠 Money Mindset

Embracing Financial Gratitude

The holiday season is a special time, but it’s easy to get distracted by what others post on social media or the gifts everyone seems to be giving. Practicing gratitude for what you already have - your income, savings progress, or financial wins - can help you stay grounded, reduce stress, and make intentional spending choices.

Try this:

Each day this month, write down one thing about your finances you’re grateful for—big or small. By the end of December, you’ll have a full list to remind you of your progress and set a positive tone for the new year.
